Lights
A accentual in theater are the lights, but are they always good. I notice over my acting life that I will not be able to make contact when the lights are on me. I try so hard but the lights always catch my attention. Also who should get to say how to say a line, how to speak. Shouldn't the actor say as he or she see fit. Directors control and actors performance and I think the best directors are the ones that just let the actors go for it. When the lines are loose a true and amazing actor can always make the scene just perfect. The directors job is to set the stage and blocking only to what truly bugs them. Not deiced every second on stage, that for the actors. I may just have only experience bad directors or bad actors but in the end this is all i see. I can only hope that Broadway will have better directors.
